Sammelan - as we like it

kishore and vamsi had a pleasant surprise for hyderabis.. They bought caps for all of the sammelanites. 14 of them. The journey was full with discussion on techi things , with sasanka telling about genetic algorithms and stuff...
We reached hyd at 5:30 early in the morning. Surprise , the hyderabadis are holding placards with sammelan on it. They had prepared two boards one in telugu and one in english, and have been waiting since 5 at the station just to greet us.. They have even bought neem toothpicks. Great
welcome man..
Went to madhu's house. Harsha and madhu brought breakfast for us. Onion dosa, idli, vada. Madhu prepared Hoiney Lime juice..Went to vamshi's house. He wasn't at his house. he would meet us at bowling.We went to bowling at abids. Was fun. We had divided into 2 groups.kalyan, vamsi, me, madhu, sasanka , kishore and vijay , harsha, rambabu,suri, deepak and vamshi. Kalyan made a century. but others were not so behind. rambabu , vijay , harsha made 90's even though its first time for them. had a small competition which side will make most points. We were saved by the kalyan's ton, only beeting them by 10 points.. final score 439 - 429. Had snaps for score board as a proof..Had meals at Taj hotel..

Next we went to Imax theatre. we have to wear spectacles to watch the 3D movie 'Polar express'. It was a 3D animation movie. It was great, except that my eyes got strained after seeing for some time.
Next we went to Durgam cheruvu. Had boat riding. Kalyan , harsha, rambabu and me did boad pedaling, while others had a motor boat ride. The place was beautiful.But there were no snaps because of some technical problems. ( Battery went dead )

We went home. Cooking session followed. I was asleep for 2 hrs as I was tired. We had puris and aloo curry. 2 aloo curries one with senagapindi and one without. The puri's were simply great. Chaas was good. Except that while preparing it, it spilled all over because of mixie problem.

Prakash called from cyprus and had talk with each one of us. The total call went for more than 2 hrs..

A great discussion followed. most of it was related to hosting a site for sammelan, registering a domain name for it. finally it was decided to have a content first. So we are going to start a blog I guess. It went on till 3 in the night. Kalyan made adjustments to photos till 4:30
in the morning..
Well most of us woke up late. Me and deepak played nfs networking. deepak won as usual.. We prepared pulihora for breakfast.. It was 1 in the afternoon when we started for snow park.Deepak and vamshi agreed to join us in snow park inspite of their cold sensitivity. Enjoyed throwing snow on each other. The snow slide was thrilling. each one had 3 rides of it. Couldn't make a snow man there as the snow was very soft. The snow fall was good. we payed snow volley ball. The ball was a plastic one though..
There was also a archery near by. So we all tried our best shot at it. We had many snaps there, each holding the gun.
It was 4 when we went to Anupama Hotel in ameerpet. The food was good.Next we packed our bags and went to station.
And there lots of bye bye's....
